When is John’s Garden open?

Please note that John’s Garden is the private garden of nursery owner John Massey VMH.

The garden is open for charity on SATURDAYS ONLY (closed in January) (it also opens for the NGS on Easter Sunday). read more

We regret that we are unable to accommodate enquiries for Sunday visits.

Week day garden visits and tours are on a pre-booked basis only with a minimum of 25 people per group. read more

Do we allow dogs? 

Yes, well behaved dogs on a lead are allowed on site around the nursery, gift shop and garden shop. Sorry, dogs are not allowed in our Tea Room or in John’s Garden.

Tea for Two Gift Vouchers

Tea for Two Gift Vouchers (exclusive to Ashwood Nurseries) are available to purchase directly from our Tea Room, Gift Shop, Garden Shop or online.  They are valid for 12 months from purchase.  We are sorry but the items entitled by the voucher cannot be exhanged for other items on the menu. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can change be given. The voucher must be presented at the the time of redemption and cannot be replaced if lost or damaged. Buy online now

Ashwood Gift Vouchers

Ashwood Gift Vouchers  (exclusive to Ashwood Nurseries) are available to purchase directly from our Gift Shop, Garden Shop or online. They can be redeemed in our Gift Shop, Garden Shop or Tea Room. The voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can change be given. The voucher must be presented at the the time of redemption and cannot be replaced if lost or damaged. Do we sell and accept HTA National Garden Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards and E-Vouchers?

We sell HTA National Garden Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards in-store only. Sorry, we do not post them out. We can redeem them in our Gift Shop and Garden Shop.

Our Tea Room is unable to redeem HTA Gift Cards and E-vouchers, but can redeem the Paper Vouchers.

The  Paper Voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, nor can change be given. The voucher must be presented at the the time of redemption and cannot be replaced if lost or damaged. We are sorry but we are unable to redeeem them against online transactions.
